About:

“Jackie Howard returns to the Walter ranch after a summer in New York. She needed space—and got it. But she doesn't know where things stand with her and Cole Walter after that goodbye kiss. Over the summer, she stopped texting him. She never stopped thinking about him.
Still, with Cole living off in town to work at Tony's garage before he heads off to college, Jackie thinks it'll be easy to avoid him—only to find that when she sees him face to face at last, it's, well... impossible to resist him. Things are getting complicated: he's the boy she can't get off her mind, and the Walters have become the family she loves and needs. How can Jackie move forward when she's afraid of taking the next step?”
Review:
I read My Life with the Walter Boys 11 years ago, and my head almost exploded when I got to the cliffhanger at the end, then I re-read while I was waiting for the news of the sequel’s release, and then many other times I reread just for the pleasure to go back to my favorite scenes. Then I lost hope, I thought maybe the author just wanted us readers to imagine which one would be the best conclusion for this story.
Finally, a month ago my head almost exploded again, when I heard the news, finally the second instalment was coming. When the time was here, I bought the book, and I needed just two nights to finish it (stupid work got in the way)
As I was reading, I was back on that farm, soon the writing pulled me into the pages, I enjoyed every word. I found a Jacky more mature, and dealing in real with her grief which didn’t happen in the first book. Every Walter boy was lovely as usual and getting on my nerves as usual too.
Now, if I enjoyed it so much why not the five stars? I guess I wanted Jacky to call on Cole’s behavior, yes, he had his tantrum, and it was part of his personality but growth is also important, I loved how caring he was and the letter he wrote but I was expecting more maturity from both of them.
100% recommended. It was totally worth the wait!
